Patient Testimonials
I would totally and unreservedly recommend this lovely professional lady who helped me to walk and drive again. I was taken by surprise by the very subtle but supper effective way in which Anne works to relieve pain and rehabilitate. I am so thankful that I found her.
I first went to see Anne when I had multiple issues including chronic fatigue, headaches, chronic PMS, and anxiety. Over the course of my appointments with Anne, each of these issues subsided. My energy levels returned to what they’d normally have been, and I felt like I was getting back to myself. Aside from the treatment with Anne, the conversations we had during each session really put my mind at ease and helped me to overcome the anxiety that I was feeling about these health issues. Having had such a positive experience myself, I brought my two children to see Anne. Neither of them were great sleepers to begin with. Each child had 4/5 sessions with Anne and we haven’t looked back since. In addition to helping with the sleep issue, Anne always interacted so kindly with them and had lots to chat about with them. The kids being so at ease with Anne helped immeasurably. All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anne to anybody and have already passed her details to multiple friends and colleagues.
My Mother Annie Byrne who will be 95yrs old in April had a Stroke & lost the use of her left side around the middle of January 2021 & because of Covid we looked after her at home. I contacted Ann Dempsey to see if she could help her. Ann very kindly came to our home. Mam was unable to get up from her chair without help & she had lost all her confidence. Ann spent two hours showing my Mam how to get up and to bring her hips forward to stand up straight & walk slowly without depending on anyone. Ann showed me how to help Mam which was brilliant!! To my astonishment My Mother that very evening got up by herself and went into the kitchen with her Wheeler-aid. I can see a huge improvement in such a short time So we are all looking forward to celebrating her birthday very soon. ( Miracles do happen) Thanks to Ann. She's an Angel
I am an athlete in my twenties who has participated in a comprehensive and diverse range of sporting activities since childhood, such as camogie, gymnastics, gaelic football, ballet, hockey and tag rugby. Participating in activities at club, county and national levels has resulted in me sustaining a wide variety of sports related injuries! However, I always know I am in very safe hands with Dr. Anne Dempsey, whether it is torn ligaments, pulled muscles, sprains or fractures. I cannot recommend Anne's approach to physiotherapy highly enough. I always have a speedy recovery following physiotherapy sessions with Anne and I continue to be able to play lots of sport as a result of her treatments.
I found Ms Dempsey to be thorough and professional in her work. I was attending for physio with an issue for which my doctor had prescribed anti-inflammatory tablets and I wanted to see if physio would relieve it faster and thus do away with the need for the medication. I felt an improvement after the very first physio session and it was clear that Ms Dempsey had quickly identified the problem and what to do about it. A few further sessions, including advice on what exercises I might like to do, relieved the problem steadily. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Anne Dempsey to anyone considering physiotherapy; and if your doctor recommends physio do ask to see Ms Dempsey.
My Name is Jason Kenna, I had a cerebullar stroke 2018 which affected my balance and coordination. I was looking for a specialist in Neuro physiotherapy to help me with my recovery and found Dr Anne Dempsey, when we first met for my physio treatment I used my wheelchair chair to gain access to Dr Anne’s treatment room. Dr Anne assessed me, she made me feel relaxed, safe, and secure immediately. On my next visit Dr Anne suggested for me not to bring my wheelchair, and with the help of Anne and my wife Lillian I walked in and out of treatment. Dr Anne has shown me different tips and techniques for home and to help Lillian with my home physio, which is very important. Dr Anne also does cranial sacral therapy which has also benefited me immensely. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Anne Dempsey for Neurophysio and cranial work. I am already feeling more confident towards my goal to walking independently and my journey with Dr Anne Dempsey.
Anne came highly recommended to me and I can honestly say she has been the best phsyio I have ever attended. Gentle, kind, intuitive and highly effective. I have learned to trust her judgment and am thankful for her holistic approach.
I have attended Anne over the past eight years each time an ache or pain has reared its ugly head. She is a highly skilled genius with magic hands!! She has always put me back together in a most gentle and painless way. Everyone I have recommended to her have had the same positive experience. Anne is constantly upskilling and keeps abreast of new developments in her field. It is with confidence that I can recommend her.
Brilliant physio. Really helped with TMJ issues, neck pain and knee pain. Anne is very professional and a lovely woman!
Would highly recommend Anne had shoulder surgery 4 months ago and have had pain everyday since . Had 2 sessions with Anne and can honestly say my pain has reduced by half
