Nerve Injuries

Nerves can be injured by being compressed (increased tension on the nerve by inflammatory or infection fluid, muscle spasm in overlying muscles, scar tissue, arthritic induced extra bony growth such as osteophytes in the spinal vertebrae or other peripheral joints), or by being put under excessive traction forces (overstretched).
